Our lifestyle choices are as important as life itself when it comes to our health. Here my sister and I weighed in over 200lbs (after having our babies). In 2000 God led us to a plant-based diet, having to modify our lifestyle habits. It’s never too late to adopt new habits to improve our well-being. Taking care of our health is like prayer; we can’t have a happy or productive life without both.
Make Healthy Changes FOR LIFE!
Be patient with yourself and remember that making healthy lifestyle changes is a long-term; lifetime commitment to support your health and quality of life. It can take time to develop new habits.
Move more; this will help improve everything from circulation to our stress levels and sense of well-being. Add more movement into your life by breaking-up sedentary activities with physical activity. ~Early morning stretches & aerobics.
~Take the stairs instead of the elevator or escalator.
~Swap your coffee break for a power walk; did you know walking is the best exercise!?
In the process it’s good to have someone to communicate your challenges and progress with sound support; but don’t compare your journey to another’s; it’s your journey, your life, your body…
