A healthy recipe for Granola made with delicious ingredients
and natural sweetness!
I have been making this recipe for almost two decades, and it is a best-seller at my little Vegan Deli. I really happen to think it is THE BEST GRANOLA I have ever had. Not saying this because I am the one making it, but because my customers think so also. On occasions, I can have customers purchase dozens of bags all at once.
The best part about this recipe is that it bakes while you’re asleep. Yes, while you’re sleeping, your breakfast is being cooked. Now tell me that’s not exciting!?
It is absolutely GENIOUS!

Health Benefits of Granola
1. Reduce Cholesterol Levels:
Granola is a great way to add fiber to your diet and help control blood sugar levels. Whole grains, such as oats and barley, are especially high in fiber. Fiber helps lower LDL cholesterol (the “bad”) and raise HDL cholesterol (the “good”) in the body.
2. Improves Blood Pressure:
The soluble fiber in granola may help reduce blood pressure by slowing down the rate at which your arteries constrict after you eat a meal. Soluble fiber slows down how quickly food moves through your digestive tract, which can reduce pressure on your arteries as they relax after digestion has occurred.
3. Aid Weight Loss:
Oats are a great source of protein, which has been shown to help people lose weight by curbing their appetite and increasing their metabolic rate. The soluble fibers in oats also work to slow intestinal transit time, which can help you feel fuller longer after eating them while also helping keep belly fat at bay!
4. Promotes Gut Health:
Oatmeal is one of the best foods for keeping your intestines healthy! It contains many good bacteria called “probiotics” that help keep your gut healthy and functioning properly so you don’t get sick.
What is the difference between Granola and Oats?
Oats are the seeds of wild grass native to Central Asia. When processed, it’s given different forms such as rolled oats, ground oats, and steel-cut oats. Oatmeal is often confused with granola. Granola is also produced using oats but contains an assortment of extra ingredients such as seeds, nuts, and dried organic products.
Are Yogurt and Granola healthy?
Yogurt and granola are good sources of dietary fiber. Dietary fiber, which is the indigestible portion of dietary foods, feeds the digestive system and helps it operate efficiently. Therefore, these foods are ideal for maintaining fast digestion so that fat formation does not occur in the body.
Is Granola good for weight loss?
Yes, granola can help you lose weight. However, because it’s high in fiber, sugar, and calories per cup, it should be consumed in moderation and made from healthy ingredients like oats, fruits, and nuts.
Is Muesli the same as Granola?
While granola and muesli are comparable in terms of ingredients, preparation methods, and health benefits, they differ in that granola is baked and contains added sweeteners such as honey or syrup, and muesli is raw and sweetened only with dried fruits. It is not recommended that we eat raw or uncooked grains. It is always best to cook grains.
Which Granola is best for weight loss?
According to our study, Deliciously Ella Berry Granola is one of the healthiest brands of granola on the market to lose weight. This plant-based granola has the lowest fat and sugar level among its competitors, with only 4.3g of fat per 45g serving and 5g of sugar.
Which one is healthier Granola or Muesli?
Granola and muesli have equal nutritional profiles, although granola has a larger calorie and sugar content than muesli due to the addition of sugars such as syrup or honey. Granolas and mueslis, on the other hand, should be consumed in moderation due to their greater calorie content.
Bottom Line:
If you are looking for a snack or breakfast food that is delicious and highly nutritious, then granola is the perfect option. Granola is so tasty that it has even been made into ice cream, yogurt, and other delectable treats. Traditional brands like Quaker Oats sell granola in different flavors and varieties, so you can choose the best one for your needs. Granola isn’t just for snacking; it pairs well with yogurt or milk as a healthy breakfast food.
Homemade granola is really easy to make, and it only takes a few minutes to prepare, so I will most likely continue to enjoy homemade granola from time to time. Granola bars are excellent snack food for situations when you don’t have the time to make a healthy, home-cooked meal. Munch on homemade your own healthy alternative because it’s affordable and tastes great.
