Basic Banana Bread

Take a bite of this moist, warm goodness and you taste a bite of banana bread, Bahamian style. Served with a glass of milk this bread can be a snack or breakfast and top it off with a scoop of ice cream and you have dessert.

So, now that you know what to do with the extra ripe bananas sitting on your table, go ahead and make one and the smell of it baking in your kitchen, will truly give your home a feeling of comfort and contentment.

As I am always wondering how to lose these unwanted pounds, I found it interesting that research shows that bananas may help with weight loss, in addition also digestion, heart health, moderate blood sugar levels and much more. Bananas are the best fruit source of Vitamin B6, which helps to metabolize carbohydrates and fats, metabolize amino acids, remove unwanted toxins from the body, and even maintain a healthy nervous system.

So, what are you waiting for? Go ahead! You have my blessings! Bake away the pounds! Bring your family together over the taste of good old Banana Bread.
